SCAN I - Oakland County
Each year the SCAN membership donates a portion of their dues toward the ongoing education of those individuals dedicated to higher education in the field of aging. The application process involves a simple 50 word essay and the application form completed and returned before June 2008.
Requirements:
- Must be working in the field of aging.
- Must be attending an accredited school, enrolled in a program related to the field of aging.
- Must be enrolled and attending school in the year 2008.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Individuals interested in receiving information on the SCAN Scholarship may contact the SCAN Scholarship Committee Chariperson, Danielle Mayoras at the Center for Elder Law at 248-641 7070.
The Scan Board will review applications to award a scholarship to selected individuals. Awards will be announced at the August meeting.
Applications will be available after April 2008.
